Available direct from Litre Meter or through a range of distributors: The VFF rotary piston positive displacement flowmeter is suitable for many applications. Typical sizes are up to 1/2" connections and a few litres per minute but larger designs are made. Minimum flow rates are less than 0.01 litres per hour depending on viscosity. Viscosity ranges from 0.8 cSt to over 90,000 cSt. Applications include low flow chemical measurement, high pressure hydraulics monitoring and polyisobutene (PIB) flow measurement and control. The high degree of customisation offered enables a complete flowmeter solution. Our next show is in Aberdeen, early in September - Offshore Europe OE2013 folowed by Kormarine, South Korea in October. Also available worldwide: Pelton Wheel flowmeters (LM & MM) were the first that Litre Meter made back in 1975 and they continue to solve awkward flow problems in the UK and further afield. They provide a wide flow range capability (so-called turndown), custom materials, low pressure drop and unique flow monitoring systems. Typical applications include lacquer flow measurement, water metering, agricultural spraying, fuel flow, fuel consumption, test bench flow metering, chemical, process.

To fulfil our customers needs in the UK we also distribute other flowmeters from many flowmeter manufacturers. For gas flow we offer Sierra thermal mass gas flowmeters, vortex flowmeters, Ritter gas meters, Hoffer turbine meters and Calibrated gas sampling bags. Sierra also manufacture thermal mass gas flow controllers. For sanitary/hygienic flowmeters Hoffer turbines come with ASME BPE-2012 as standard. For dirtier liquids which may foul meters with moving parts then the choice is non-intrusive, between Sierra non-invasive ultrasonic, Euromag electromagnetic and Tricor coriolis flowmeters. For precision the KEM SRZ and ZHM helical screw and spur gear positive displacement meters are ideal. For steam and other high temperature flow regimes the Sierra Innovaflo vortex is popular.
Use the VFF for low flow rates where oval gear or round gear positive displacement meters can't measure low enough or at high enough pressure. Accurate at a variety of pressures and viscosities, not just at the test pressure or test viscosity. Data updated today the 23rd of the month
